Pier Aquatics Pleco Day 23rd February 2020

World-famous Pier Aquatics in Wigan, England is soon to host its second annual Pleco day.

Known by many as Pleco Mecca, Pier is the unofficial catfish capital of the world, hosting not only Pleco day but also being the go-to fish shop when Wigan hosts the Catfish Study Group’s Catfish Convention every March.

Proprietor Neil Woodward leaves no stone unturned in his search for new, rare and exciting catfish species, along with South American, African and South-East Asian freshwater fishes.

“After the huge success of our first Pleco Day last year…we have decided to make it an annual event!” Say Pier on their popular Facebook page.

Pleco day is on Sunday the 23rd of February, 2020, from 10:00am – 6:00pm.
